About Sydney

I graduated from Western University’s MA in Counselling Psychology program and am currently a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. Empathy and compassion are at the heart of my therapeutic practice. I have had the privilege of supporting clients from diverse backgrounds who are experiencing various challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, body-image and self-confidence concerns, grief, and trauma.

I specialize in working with high-achieving individuals in academics, career, and sport, helping them navigate the pressures of perfectionism, fear of failure, and feelings of inadequacy. I understand the challenges of balancing high expectations with personal well-being, supporting clients in overcoming imposter syndrome, chronic stress, managing life balance, and the difficulty of separating self-worth from achievement.

I believe in a client-centered, collaborative approach to therapy. My aim is to meet you where you are and empower you to live in alignment with your values and goals. To best meet your unique needs and preferences, I use a variety of treatment modalities, including acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), and brief solution-focused therapy, all while maintaining a trauma-informed perspective.

I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your challenges and work towards a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
